Gwenn Hansen
Chief Scientific Officer Nurix Therapeutics
Gwenn Hansen, PhD, is Chief Scientific Officer at Nurix Therapeutics, where she leads the company’s drug discovery organization and advances its proprietary DNA‑encoded library platform for small‑molecule discovery and targeted protein degradation. Dr. Hansen joined Nurix in 2015 and has held multiple leadership roles, playing a key part in building and expanding the company’s discovery capabilities prior to being appointed CSO. Before joining Nurix, she was an Associate Professor in the Center for Drug Discovery at Baylor College of Medicine and previously held research-focused roles at Lexicon Pharmaceuticals, contributing to innovative therapeutic discovery programs. She holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a BA in Biology from Gustavus Adolphus College.
