Jesse Chen

Jesse Chen, PhD, is Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Fortitude Biomedicines, a biotechnology company advancing next-generation antibody-based therapeutics for autoimmune diseases and cancer. A serial biotech entrepreneur, Jesse co-founded Fortitude to develop innovative immune cell–targeting biologics and antibody–drug conjugates, including its proprietary GLUE-DAC™ platform, designed to expand the therapeutic potential of ADCs through molecular glue–based payloads. Prior to Fortitude, he served as Chief Technology Officer at Triana Biomedicines and co-founded Avilar Therapeutics. He also held scientific leadership roles at Kymera Therapeutics, contributing to targeted protein degradation programs and early-stage drug discovery efforts. Jesse trained in biological chemistry, earning a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology after completing his undergraduate studies at Nanjing University.
