Previously, he served as Entrepreneur‑in‑Residence at Texas Medical Center Innovation, supporting oncology startups, developing KOL networks, and securing venture participation. As Co‑Founder and former VP of R&D at ReCode Therapeutics, he helped transition academic science into a VC‑backed company, raising $160M and overseeing multidisciplinary R&D teams. With deep experience in cancer biology, gene therapy, and venture strategy, Mike brings a unique blend of scientific, operational, and business leadership.
